(“I credit my Grandfather with feeding my musical curiosity.” – Bob). Bob’s main instrument is the guitar and his influences are too many to mention. Favorite Bands: Rush, Van Halen, Bela Fleck and The Flecktones, INXS, Springsteen, Rippingtons, Al DiMeola, Styx, Police, Stray Cats, Funkadelic, Prince, Allman Brothers, Frank Zappa… Pretty eclectic, huh? Bob has done Front-of-House sound for many well known acts back on “The Island” as well as local and national acts here in Charlotte. When it comes to sound systems, Bob is somwhat of a “gearhead”, especially on someone else’s budget!

Barry was born to sing! His earliest memory is dancing in his crib and hearing Elvis Presley’s Blue Suede Shoes. He was the loudest voice in his school choir! At twelve his father gave him a guitar. That was the year he first heard Led Zeppelin on vinyl. At eighteen he met some guys and formed a band, in the Army no less. Back then there was a lot of R&B or Soul music. Earth, Wind & Fire, Commodores, Stylistics, but also Elton John, Black Sabbath and KISS were on the radio. A few years later he went to college to study Art, Music and Theatre, eventually getting a BFA in Theatre/Acting. He’s played in bands, trios and solos in any setting he could find. From Key West dive bars to auditoriums, at festivals and more dive bars in more places he can remember. His musical taste has expanded throughout the years. His playlist includes everything from Willie Nelson to Greta Van Fleet, to Miranda Lambert to Bach or Tool. Music is still the one thing he loves more than anything else. Most days you can find him strumming on a guitar and singing, even if no one is listening.
